Bio-Scrubber

The Bio-Scrubber operates on the principles of absorption and biological oxidation, where microorganisms break down odorous compounds into harmless byproducts. The Bio-Scrubber is filled with highly porous inorganic media, optimized to support microbial growth and maximize the contact time between polluted air and microorganisms. A nutrient-rich water solution is recirculated continuously and sprayed over the media, keeping the system moist and maintaining optimal pH levels for microbial activity.
This design allows the Bio-Scrubber to consistently achieve odour removal efficiencies of up to 99% when managed within the required contact time and operational parameters. The system is fully automated, featuring a PLC-based control system that continuously monitors and adjusts operating conditions using integrated sensors. This automation reduces the need for operator intervention and significantly lowers recurring costs compared to conventional chemical scrubbers.
